Human Resources is responsible for ensuring that our organization has the people it needs to fulfill our business strategy and deliver a high performance business agenda for our clients. To do this, Human Resources focuses on activities ranging from safekeeping our culture and values to development of individual people. Human Resources ultimately has responsibility for our greatest asset, our people.
Human Resources is involved in every part of Accenture’s organization and Human Resources activities fall into roughly three categories: Talent management, including workforce planning, recruiting, career management, performance management, capability development, scheduling and rewards; Employee engagement, which focuses on people satisfaction and employee and alumni relations; and Human capital efficiency, which focuses on HR strategy, the operating structure, HR technology, HR service delivery and internal controls.
Works with the Graduate Acquisition Lead to build and implement Strategy
Engages with Executives to define the graduate intake target for the financial year
Owns responsibility for the selection, progression and transition management of recruits / candidates through the process
Maintains a thorough understanding of specific skill profiles, salary levels, budget constraints and the needs of the organisation
Takes ownership of recruiting targets, cost management and delivery thereof
Ensuring the following for each recruit / candidate: Offer decisions are made, career level and experience is determined, salary and compensation is determined, start dates are set and confirmed, and primary business location is determined.
Becomes the single point of contact for the recruits as they move through the pipeline as well as the single point of contact for the Universities
Manages entire Recruitment process:
on the Accenture Talent Acquisition System
Identifies suitable candidates from incoming resumes
Conducts HR screening interviews and/or Panel interviews
Establishes and maintains relationships with recruits during the interview process
Arranges further assessments including executive
interviews as required
Conducts HR closing interview including extending offers
Reviewing the Recruitment Process annually and making changes to improve the process
Working closely with the Marketing department to ensure that the Accenture brand is marketed at each campus
Building relationships with lecturers; students; campus careers offices
Arranging various campus initiatives e.g. technology days; career fairs; mock interviews; guest lectures; brand ambassadors and award ceremonies
Arranging and facilitating Innovation Showcases
Networking with Graduate Recruiters from other organisations and SAGRA to learn about Graduate recruitment
drives in the marketplace
Arrange mock interview sessions on campus
