This year Unilever SA will be recruiting 12 first year students from the Kwa-Zulu Natal Province to participate in the KZN Unilever Leadership Interns Program scheduled to start during the Campus Summer Break ie. Mid-January 2013. These interns will be placed across the business in either the Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Development, Research & Development or Human Resources function. This is an excellent opportunity to boost your CV by gaining practical work experience in the Largest FMCG in South Africa.

Making the most of your Vacation…

As a Unilever Sustainability and Talent Development initiative, the program aims at providing first year students from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, the opportunity to make themselves more attractive in the labour market by gaining work experience in their relevant discipline. First year, KZN based students will spend the vacation period at the Unilever SA Head Office in La Lucia Ridge, Durban within their relevant function . This programme will allow students to gain an understanding of the corporate world, develop their skills, put theory into practice and build networks.

What we are looking for…

We invite current first year tertiary students from KZN studying toward any degree, in any discipline to apply to the Unilever Leadership Interns Program. However, there are some specific functional requirements: R & D (BSC General/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and Chefmanship); Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical and Electrical) and Finance (Bcom with Accounting).
