- Identify, qualify and ultimately execute on visible revenue generating opportunities for BMC Software following our designed and proven sales process.
- Cross and upsells across all of our value propositions, benefiting from both direct and indirect (Channel/partner/reseller) routes to market.
- Work in collaboration with the dedicated pre-sales consultant on deals, the inside sales team and other departments of BMC Software that will enable you to add the most value to the company.
- Be able to demonstrate the value of the BMC propositions to your customers, acting as the primary point of contact maintaining the ongoing relationships.
- Be perceived to be a trusted advisor on behalf of BMC Software supporting our presence and position on future sales campaigns.
- Build champions both internally and externally to strengthen access to key decision makers/economic buyers.
- Act with the highest level of integrity, representing the organization is a positive manner in order to build trust and Brand awareness.
- Deliver on your quarterly/ annual revenue targets challenging yourself to reach the set objectives and expectations.
- Support other members of the sales team, and play a pivotal in seeking and ensuring continuous improvement in performance and effectiveness.

- At least 4 years software sales experience, looking for a step up.
- Leverages all routes to market – both direct, channel (including our Salesforce.com partnership)
- Be a motivated self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude. You thrive on the desire to win!
- Must have considerable experience in Software solution selling ideally to C Level.
- Consistent track record of overachievement in earnings and against your quota.
- Excellent level of Education degree preferred or equivalent qualification.
- Enjoy PG, and Business Development activity, cold calling, converting a prospect.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, and be able to build and maintain relationships quickly
- Accurate strategic planning and forecasting skills.
