Job description
- Managing the stock take process
- Monthly variance analysis of stock adjustments and reporting thereof
- Balance sheet recons and journal entries
- Balance Sheet recons of the stock control accounts and container accounts
- Product cost adjustments when necessary after investigation
- Container reporting Ad-hoc related tasks when necessary
- Comply with company policies and procedures
- Daily maintenance of accounting records
- Preparation and execution of monthly journals
- Preparation and analysis of balance sheets recons
- Responsible for issuing and reconciling petty cash
- Monthly General ledger reconciliations
- Preparation of management accounts
- Investigating and resolving accounting queries
- On-going monitoring and improvement of internal controls
- Review creditor reconciliations and prepare a schedule of outgoing cash flows
- Process month –end Journal entries and review the trial balance
