The candidate will form part of the DRC Squad and will be responsible for ongoing Development of Mobile applications and Web development. The position requires a self-motivated individual with intermediate level experience in software development who can perform a technical lead role. A typical project will require front-end, back-end and integration development using microservices architecture. Candidates should contribute to improvements to our processes and systems and be involved in technical decision making. Candidates should be able to work solo on some projects or as part of a team on others.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Develop CR’s/ projects/Production fixes unassisted and ensure code is accurate with minimum defects.
Complete Technical Assessments (TA’s) for Change Requests
Guiding and assisting junior developers.
Provide 3rd level product support.
Supporting current projects timeously during UAT testing.
Be present in Code Reviews.
Communicate effectively and clearly with PM and the other team members.
Communicating and giving feedback to all relevant parties.
Attending weekly level 10 and daily stand-up meetings.
Attending all knowledge sharing sessions.
Attending Boiler/Troubleshooting sessions when required.
Attend to system security when required
Research and recommend innovative approaches to improving efficiency.
Completing of weekly Timesheet
Attending Udemy training courses
Build reusable code for future use
Make sure web pages are potimized for best speed and scalability

Other responsibilities could include the following:
Automation of repetitive tasks where possible. (like building or maintenance tasks
Attend to system security.
Research and recommend innovative approaches to improving efficiency.
Provide 3rd level product support
