Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Responsible for the Planning and Management of Local Purchase Orders placed with Local Suppliers

To ensure the “on time” and “in full” delivery (OTA/OTIF) of the purchase orders while considering logistical restrictions and the individual Market Targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Seasonal purchase plan based on demand and factory capacity

Manage Monthly purchase plan for Make to stock styles like team wear and core styles based on forecast, sales orders and factory capacity

Long term capacity requirements – forecasting and planning together with local suppliers to ensure local suppliers can meet our demand at optimal cost. Monitor in-season Capacity

Manage the factory relationship – track orders and deliveries and feedback to relevant parties internally and externally.

Reporting – Supplier performance reports, Status reports, Price Basket exercises.

Margin and Price tracking

Manages Timelines – Seasonal timelines (seasonal calendar) for all purchasing relevant tasks

Focus – On Time In Full

Steers actively and continuously necessary Local purchasing process – and system changes, considering the requirements of all departments and their related interfaces.

Strives to make the supply chain more efficient and to reduce complexity.

Measure and monitor local supplier performance

Proactively communicate potential delays based on updated ETA dates from suppliers

MS Office (Excel/Acess;Visio/Aris; Outlook; Word; Powerpoint)
Strong Analytical skills
Figure and Budget analysis
SAP knowledge
Seasonal Forecasting and Tracking abilities
Language skills: English fluent
Strong communication, – and negotiation skills
Strong personal presence
Capability of proactive handling and self-motivation
Steer projects independently
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in business administration with focus on Supply Chain Management and or Finance degree
