Job Details

Employer: SA Fence and Gate

Assessment of new job requirements.

Verifying and familiarize with all specifications.

Clarification of job specification and requirements with client.

Get sign off from client on all samples, QCP’s and manufacturing drawings.

Verifying picking slip and drawing.

Drawing up site specific documentation (QCP, Project Plan, Site Requisition, Recruitment Requisition)

Liaise with H&S officer for SHE file, create a Progress Report, generate drawings with the help of the junior draftsman, setting up installation manual and/or guide lines.

Compile site file and handover to site manager.

Arrange all site establishment requirements.

Arrange all transportation requirement and deadlines with the logistical department.

Arrange site access and permits.

Monitor performance (progress, budget, quality and health and safety).

Liaise with client.

Process material orders from site, and submit to Projects/Operations Coordinator.

Evaluate progress payments and get sign off from client.

Issue Tax invoice.

Follow up on payment.

Process all site instruction (determine cost and/or time implications).

Issue notifications to client.

Attend site meetings with client.

Resolve all project related issues.

Submit weekly progress reports.

Monitor stock levels/losses. ( Tools, plant and equipment, and material)

Submit quarterly KPIs.

Managing all submissions of admin from site.

Monitoring all preventative maintenance schedules.

Technical support to site personnel.

Updating project progress and submit to client.

Finding solutions on security fences and security systems based on customer requirements.

Finding solutions on all components for technical installations.

Sourcing three prices for all material and components to be bought.

Sourcing the best supplier & prices for the specific job.

Assisting in training of site agents and site personnel.

Assisting in presentations to clients on new products.

Interact with day to day sales, visiting clients.

Monitoring and updating procurement schedule

Follow up on Procurement

Administrator for Docwize, document controller

Manage and facilitate Smart sheet ticketing system

Candidate Requirements

Good leadership and managerial skills.

Drive to complete tasks issued with efficiency.

The ability to find a solution based on a requirement.

The ability to capture all data required to make an installation a success.

The ability to assist in technical queries.

Overall operational and occupational leadership, direction to staff.

Ensure efficient and effective service with regard to fencing projects and to remain profitable.

Good administrative skills, i.e. reports, submissions, policies, budgets,

Good people skills

Good computer skills, sound client communication skills, goal driven.
