1. ADMINISTRATION CLERK: TRAINING 2 POSTS REF NO: DI/17/02

SALARY : R123 738 per annum, Level 5
CENTRE : Directorate: Defence Intelligence (SA Defence Intelligence College) (SADIC),
Monument Park.

REQUIREMENTS : A minimum of Grade 12 – NQF 04. Applicants with prior learning either by
means of experience or alternative courses in education training and
development will be recommended. Special requirements (skills needed): Ability
to render administrative support service to the Training Section. Knowledge of
clerical duties, practices as well as ability to capture data operating computer
and collect statistics. Organisational skills. Communication skills. Must be able
to obtain a Secret Security Clearance within a year.

DUTIES : Record, organise, store, capture and retrieve correspondence and data of
personnel and course administration. Updating of course registers and
statistics. Handling of routine enquiries. Make photocopies and receive or
sending of facsimiles. Keep and maintain the filling system. Typing of letters
and/or correspondence when required. Maintaining the incoming and outgoing
document register for the training section. Handling telephone accounts and
petty cash for the section. Arrange travel and accommodation for students and
submit travel claims to manager for approval.
