Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Administrative Invoicer, Operations located in Pretoria, South Africa through January 26, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Position Details: This position is accountable for terminal and transportation operations. Key areas of focus include Incident free operations, cost efficient network and asset utilization resulting in an industry leading position in terminal network efficiency, fleet utilization/efficiency aligned with our COT strategy and consistent with International Products delivering a minimum 15% ROCE in our operations and footprint. Lead the Operations and Transportation organization in the safe, reliable and efficient terminal operations and secondary transportation at the Terminals consistent with 0 / 0 / 15+ (zero accidents, zero incidents and 15% Plus ROCE).
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Accountable for effectively performing duties as assigned in accordance with the respective policy and procedure. These relate to the control and capturing of transactional data, monitoring of control reports on the SAP, EDI, Fuelfacs / Stock Control and the subsequent filing, scanning and control of supporting documentation
Executes shipment & invoicing processes for products delivered from terminals to customers, third party or proprietary facilities(Fuelfacs/SAP). Creates filling advise note (FAN) on Fuelfacs for all bulk loadings ( BM, COC, etc.)
Assures that all invoicing transactions are performed in compliance with internal controls and accounting requirements. Manages and reconciles all invoicing according to approved accounting and compliance requirements
Responsible for the accurate reconciliations of trips / shipment to ensure all products is accurately accounted for. This includes out-of-tolerance bulk truck inventory loss gain investigations, timely reporting, documenting of explanations and as appropriate execution of corrective action
Successfully completed Senior Certificate/Grade 12 or equivalent
Proven relevant experience as an Invoicer, ideally gained in a similar environment
PC literacy (including SAP and MS Office)
Sound communication, prioritising and process management skills
Amenable to working in shifting schedules
Relocation may be considered within Chevron South Africa parameters.
Selected candidates will work in South Africa under the local payroll system and benefits.
