SALARY: 170 799 per annum
An appropriate 3 year higher education qualification, with specialisation in
Public administration/Management, Financial Management and a minimum 2 years’ relevant
experience in an administrative environment. The candidate must have a good understanding
and knowledge of the public sector, office administration, information management, supply
chain management, financial management/administration and general procurement procedure.
S/he must have excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving skills, good
interpersonal relations, and the ability to perform under pressure. Advanced computer
knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The successful candidate must
be adaptable, disciplined, self confident, an independent thinker, able to drive initiatives and be
able to work with a team.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative
support; Budget management; compile monthly expenditure reports; Track and confirm
payments; serve as secretariat; Assist with day–to-day administrative duties; Compile reports
and memos; Compile agendas, submissions, reports and memos. Provide logistical support to
meetings and arrange refreshments; Deal with queries relating to different aspects of the work
of the project manager; assist with administrative functions.
