SALARY : R123 738 per annum. (Level 5)

REQUIREMENTS : Ideal candidate profile: An appropriate three year diploma/degree in Office Management/Administration. NQF 6 qualification in the field of Information Technology will be an added advantage.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in network operations, administration and secretariat support. Sound knowledge and understanding of Public Service Systems and Regulations, Public Service Procedures and Public Service Standards. Sound customer relations/interpersonal and analytical skills.

Ability to communicate (written, verbal and electronically) effectively at all levels. Intermediate Computer skills (MS Office packages), A valid driving license will be an added advantage.


DUTIES : Key performance areas: Arrange meetings/workshops for the Directorate. Manage the Director’s dairy. Establish and maintain the filling system. Attend and respond to the telephonic enquiries. Assist with the administration of the budget, expenditure and reconciliation of the invoices. Ensure that appropriate records are available and correct procedures are adhered to prior to authorization of expenditure. Initiate quarterly budget reviews.

Administer the pool equipment and ensure the IT asset tracking. Analyse, investigate and provide guidelines on problem areas. Manage ad hoc IT projects. Play a leading role in license administration. Compile and submit early warning reports. Verify expenditure reports and conduct follow-ups.
