MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To promote, market and sell the bank’s products to client, to effect completion of required administration and customer service and satisfaction.

PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION

Grade 12

PREFERRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

1 year sales and / client service experience

Achievement of all Sales Targets and Growth
Sell, promote and market the Bank’s Products in terms of the Sales Operating Procedures in order to:
Retain existing clients
Grow new client base
Reactivate dormant clients
Achieve Sales Target as set by Branch Manager i.e.:
Minimum set turnover
Minimum set number of loans sold
New client targets
Credit card conversion rate
Missed 3rd instalments at set targets

Loan Application Administration

Check loan application documentation for accuracy, authenticity and compliance to Policy and Procedures as well as completeness
Capture all client information accurately on Phoenix as per loan application and supporting documentation
Suspend or reject loan applications to be re-quoted as and when required
Issue Agreement and supporting documents to Client
Follow up on clients’ missed instalments as required

Customer Experience

Project / promote the professional image of African Bank by adhering to the dress code, house keeping, professional behaviour and Code of Conduct
Maintain relationships with internal and external clients
Resolve all client related issues according AB’s Client Query Resolution Procedures within set turnaround times and keep clients informed
Explain compliance requirements to clients and reasons for non approval of a client’s loan application
Explain the Loan Application Process to facilitate client understanding of the process
Explain the Bank’s Products to clients
Support Customer experience strategy within the branch

Compliance to Policies and Procedures

Execute all Branch Consultant related duties and activities in adherence to Internal Audit standards (BPR):
Cash Administration
Compliance, regulatory and Credit Policy
General Operations
Report suspicious or fraudulent loan application documents to the Branch Manager
Explain Terms and Conditions to clients
