Job Title: Group Legal Advisor (IT)
Location: Johannesburg

Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Legal – Drafting of Contracts, Contract Vetting, and Contract negotiation;

Candidate will be required to communicate clearly and effectively with all relevant stakeholders;

Candidate must have a strong commercial, and a basic technical, understanding of the applicable transaction.

Candidate should be pro-active in growing their understanding of the business.

Candidate should clearly identify and communicate associated risks to stakeholders.

Tenders – vetting and compilation of submissions;

Risk and Compliance, including Policy drafting.

Desired Experience & Qualification:
Qualification:

LLB Degree – Required

BCom – Beneficial

Experience:

3 -5 Inhouse commercial experience, preferably in the IT Sector

Experience in the IT distribution Industry.

Strong grasp of the English language.

Good commercial understanding.

Self-starter with the ability to take complete ownership of a task from start to finish.
