Key Performance Outputs:

• Support managers in meeting their objectives by providing effective support and creative HR solutions.
• Lead HR initiatives that will address key business drivers.
• Improve employee engagement by implementing appropriate interventions.
• Facilitate change management and provide support for business continuity.
• Be an employee advocate by driving the employee value proposition.
• Resource the business with the best people by leveraging off appropriate attrition and selection tools.
• Drive employment equity initiatives in line with the company objectives.
• Advise business on HR Solutions.
• Implement talent sourcing and retention relevant to airport needs
• Ensure all recruitment is in line with best practice, processes, assessments and ACSA board approved Employment Equity (EE) targets.


Technical Skills And Experience:

• The candidate must be in possession of an appropriate tertiary qualification coupled with at least 5 years Human Resources Generalist experience.
• The successful candidate will display proven experience in managing HR projects, workforce planning & resourcing, process reengineering, OD; change management.
• Experience in working in a unionized environment is an added advantage.
• Head Count Budgeting is essential. It is imperative that the candidate has a good understanding of what enhances human performance as well as strong partnering skill.
• Intermediate working knowledge of the various applications within Microsoft Office is required


• The candidate must be customer focused and have excellent abilities in managing and measuring work.
• The ideal candidate must have strong planning skills coupled with good business acumen.  He/she must be able to work independently as well as communicate well with higher management.
• The candidate must possess good written and presentation skills.
• We are looking an individual with managerial courage and strong problem solving abilities.
