Job Summary:
•Responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s Warehousing and Logistics department, i.e., developing and implementing
inventory management and logistics strategy, planning for operations to maximize the process efficiency and productivity, developing and
maintaining good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
•Formulating & developing policies, plans, and strategies for Warehouse & Inventory management, inbound and outbound logistics for the
company including risk management and contractor performance measurement plans.
•Oversee and manage the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing Raw material and finished products to ensure Ontime and in full receipt and
delivery at the right cost.
•Review and update Supply chain practices related to Warehousing and Logistics in accordance with any new or changing environmental
policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
•Oversee the management of inventory, material storage, and handling and develop strategies to efficiently manage inventory
•Maintain good relationship with Customs bond officer and other stakeholders to optimize the use of the custom bonded facility in 100%
compliant manner.
•Work with relevant Government agencies as well as clearing agents to ensure timely clearance of imports and exports and ensure all
applicable laws and regulations are followed to avoid risks and additional costs to ALAF or to its customers.
•Formulate and implement appropriate document retention, storage, and retrieval process.
•Set Key Performance Indicators and manage the performance of all personnel in the Warehouse and Logistics department.
•Develop and implement new systems, best practices, inventory control, and other optimizations to grow the business
•Develop analytics, systems, and data management capabilities, including reports
Budgetary Responsibility:
•Provides inputs for annual budget relating to Warehousing and Logistics – both Opex and Capex requirements.

Responsibility for Physical Assets:
•Making sure that Office assets & equipment are efficiently used.
Financial Responsibilities:
•Import & export Cost optimization.
Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities:
•Supervises Warehouse and Logistics Managers and Officers.
Decision Making/Job influence:
•Yes – May be required to participate in Job interviews for departmental recruits.
Working conditions:
•Working environment requires that the Warehouse Manager and all his/her team wear PPEs all the time for safety reasons.
•Office bound / on-site / travel/ May be required to travel.
•The company may choose to relocate to branches or other sister offices as and when needed.
•Willing to work extended hours to accomplish job roles.

Requirements:
•Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Supply Chain Option)
•Qualifications as an added advantage: Master’s degree
•Professional registration: Registration with Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB) as an added advantage.
