Job Title: IT Technician
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, help with completing tasks, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution including remote access to their computers.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide first class technical support, via IT helpdesk, phone, email and face-to-face.
System Support and Administration SAGE X3, Sage CRM, Orb fusion
Arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved.
Log all IT related calls/ issues on the call logging system and maintain full documentation.
Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both remotely and in person, delivering technical resolutions as they arise and identifying root causes, implementing enhancements to prevent future occurrences.
Basic Server administration. Active Directory / File Permissions / Printer support
Office 365 mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes.
Responsible for the smooth running of all client IT systems, including but not limited to anti-virus software, print services and email provision.
Group IT Equipment procurement
Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
Ensuring IT asset register is always up to date.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or similar.
Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, Oracle, or Cisco certification.
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Extensive expertise in an IT service desk/support-related role
Excellent working knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure including Windows Server, Office 365 and skilled in supporting remote users.
