Job Title: Office Manager
Job Location: Cape Town
Salary: R10 000 to R15 0000, dependent upon skills and experience. Cost to company
Report to: ALPS Resilience’s Director
The purpose of the Office Manager is to support programme and operational staff in project administration and logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact between the Executive Director and internal / external associates and staff
- Screen and direct telephone calls and distribute
- Handle correspondence for Executive Director
- Open and distribute mail
- Provide administrative assistance to Management and support to project staff
- Handle requests and queries appropriately
- Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
- Make travel arrangements
- Source and procure office supplies
- Implement and maintain an office filing system
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate / Diploma in Office Administration
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role in the NGO environment
- Great attention to detail
- Strong planning, organising and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- A diploma in office administration management or a related field
- Some experience in bookkeeping
- Experience managing in the NGO environment
