Job Level / Anglo band: B3

Role Description:

The Crane Driver is responsible to provide lifting and loading support for material movement and ad hoc crane operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sound operation of mobile crane
• Safe trimming of mobile crane
• Basic knowledge of crane mechanics
• Sound rigging knowledge

Education:

• Grade 12 / NQF 4
• One year Mobile Crane operation experience
• Valid Code 08 drivers license
• Fit for movement around
• No major sensory restrictions
• Hand-eye co-ordination

Competencies:

• Sound operation of mobile crane
• Safe trimming of mobile crane
• Basic knowledge of crane mechanics
• Sound rigging knowledge
