REQUIREMENTS : Matric plus 3 year National Diploma in Animal Health. Must be registered with the South
African Veterinary Council (proof of registration must be attached). 1-2 years’ experience
in Animal Health. Report writing skills, communication and interpersonal skills. A valid
driver’s license (please attach certified copy). Knowledge of Animal Disease Acts.
Computer proficiency skills will be tested.
DUTIES : Implement disease control measure. Render a support to the State Veterinarian with
regard to animal disease control. Assist in the provision of extension services on animal
health to animal owners. Reproduction and production advancement, sample collection
and law enforcement. Perform administrative and related functions.
