Arup Bursaries

Arup has been working in Africa for over 60 years. We have offices in Botswana, Mauritius and South Africa which comprises the Southern Africa sub-region and have delivered projects across the continent. We now number over 450 people in the sub-region, supported by a global team of experts numbering more than 9,000.

We can offer graduate engineers, designers, planners and consultants unmatched opportunities to build rewarding and exciting careers. Every year we take on a number of bursars across our office, and the opportunities available are outlined below:

– 1x BSc Electrical Engineer,1st year in 2014

– 1x BSc Electrical Engineer, 2nd year in 2014

– 2x BSc Electrical Engineer, 4th year in 2014

– 1x BSc Mechanical Engineer, 1st year in 2014

– 1x BSc Mechanical Engineer, 2nd year in 2014

– 1x BSc Mechanical Engineer, 4th year in 2014

– 1x Master student in Civil Engineering specializing in Transport

– 1x Master student in Planning or Masters in Urban Design

– 1x BSc Environmental Sciences 3rd year in 2014

 

Eligibility

To be considered for the bursar programme, as part of the application process you will be asked to demonstrate that you hold:

– Legal entitlement to work in Southern Africa (proof of citizenship/residency required)

– A relevant degree or qualification

– Excellent academic record
