Vacancy Details

Purpose of the role:

The Senior Group Accountant is responsible for the accurate and timely production of consolidated financial information for our client.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Assist with external JSE reporting of consolidated group financials
• Prepare separate and annual financial statements of subsidiaries companies
• Prepare actual monthly consolidated group management accounts
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast consolidated group management accounts
• Assist with the group automated consolidation processes
• Group income and deferred tax reporting
• Assist with corporate transactions
• Assist with the preparation of statutory and internal reporting documents and requirements
• Assist in establishing and improving automated internal reporting
• Analyse and report on financial data
• Ad-hoc assistance to the finance team, as required

Knowledge and Experience Required:

• Chartered Accountant qualification (SA)
• 1-3 years post article experience
• FMCG Industry experience advantageous
• Syspro and Qlikview experience advantageous

 

Salary: Market related and depending on experience, between R500k-R900k p.a.

Start Date: As soon as possible.
