ASSISTANT APPOINTMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY
Ministry: Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
SALARY : R270 804 per annum (Level 9)
CENTRE : Pretoria

REQUIREMENTS : An appropriate 3 year National Diploma/Degree or equivalent qualification on NQF level
6 with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience OR a Senior Certificate with a minimum
of 6 years’ relevant experience. Good computer literacy with relevant computer packages
(MS-Word, MS-Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Good interpersonal relations,
communication (verbal and written) and research skills. Excellent planning and
organising skills. Reporting skills. Innovative thinking.

 

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be expected to provide executive administrative support to
the head of the unit/principal in respect of general office (e.g. record keeping), financial
and logistical support. Assist with operational planning, rendering of internal and external
liaison. Conduct research as instructed. Assist with the management of the budget.
Route and answer on correspondence received. Assist with follow-up on outstanding
issues and obligations. Assist with obtaining and furnishing of information and
documentation required.
