ASSISTANT MANAGER: PERFORMANCE AND COMPLIANCE (SUPPLY
CHAIN MANAGEMENT) REF NO: AS01/2015
SALARY : R337 998 per annum (Level 10)
CENTRE : Head Office (Pietermaritzburg)

 

REQUIREMENTS : A Grade 12 or equivalent plus an accredited 3 year Degree or National Diploma
with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience. computer literacy in the
following software packages, namely (Word processing, Spreadsheet,
Presentation and Outlook) • a valid driver’s licence (manual transmission).
Recommendations: knowledge of wide range of work procedure such as
Finance, HR Matters, Training. planning and organizing. knowledge of
PFMA,1999 as amended and Treasury Regulations. research skills. report
writing skills. interpretation and application of policies/legislation. interpersonal
skills. strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

DUTIES : Monitor the performance of Supply Chain Management Units within the
Department including the monitoring and reporting of each significant stage of
the SCM Framework. assist in development and administering policies,
procedures and prescripts pertaining to procurement directives. provide training
to Head Office and regions. oversee the complaints mechanisms in respect of
SCM in the department. manage the resources of the component.
