Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Mafikeng, North West, South Africa

Job Summary:
Specific Responsibilities
Support the Senior Project Manager in overseeing project activities.
Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the donor.
Responsible for supporting the development and execution of project deliverables, including planning, budgeting, work plans and monitoring processes.
Participate project activities, offering technical support to the team as needed.
Responsible for report writing, meeting minutes and progress reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly and yearly.
Manage project priorities and communication across the project team.
Coordinate and participate in project design, implementation, and monitoring activities.
Support the team in trouble shooting problems, identifies, and implements creative solutions.
Ensure alignment and linkage of project interventions with other national strategies and plans.
Effectively lead the project team, including supervising employees, setting goals, be responsible for performance management, leave, timesheets and other HR related duties as expected from a manager.

Requirements:
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or any other medical degree, management or a related field.
At least 2 years management experience
Previous experience working with or within the South African Government and USAID or a similar agency.
Familiar with monitoring and evaluation tools and data for decision-making methodologies. Ability to coach others on these methodologies.
Experience facilitating synchronization and integration of policies and procedures between structures and organizations at local, provincial and district levels.
Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and motivate people for programme/ project participation.
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience in communicating complex processes to diverse stakeholders, including government officials at the national, provincial and/or district levels.

General:
Perform functions with a view to safeguarding the best interest of CHAPS
Ensure that regular backups of data are completed
Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned
Willing to work overtime
