We are focused on research, support and implementing integrated approaches to managing TB and HIV. Job Title: Facility Based Counsellor [Hanna Coetzee Clinic ]
Location: Saldanha, Western Cape, South Africa

Job Summary:
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
•HCT services using ACTS/PICT model for new clients seeking HIV testing per day
•Adherence and follow up counselling
•Paediatric/adolescent/adult workup and treatment readiness
•Intervention with struggling/defaulting clients
•Group facilitation for club activities
•Health education and information (group-based) on HIV/STI/TB and ART related issues in the waiting rooms of the clinics and/or at the community level.

REQUIREMENT:
•High school diploma / Gr 12 or equivalent
•Basic counselling skills certificate (NQF Level 4 or equivalent)

EXPERIENCE:
•At least 2 years counselling experience
•Previous work experience in counselling is highly advantageous
•Proficient in both English & Afrikaans
•Proficient in Xhosa or other languages will be an advantage
