Introduction

The Auto Trader is currently looking for a dynamic individual to fill this exciting position as Account Executive, covering the East Rand territory within the group.

Minimum Requirements

Matric
2 years’ experience in sales
Own reliable transport

Job Specification

Purpose
Personally selling our bouquet of print and digital products to motor industry dealers – sales manager & dealer principle level.
You will be required to meet very specific sales objectives, while maintaining a high level of customer service both internally (other departments) and externally (customers).
To be considered for this position, the following skills and/or attributes are desirable:

Key Knowledge:
Good understanding of Marketing and Advertising.
Good understanding of customer service
Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a solid track record.
Good economic & geographic knowledge of East Rand and surrounding areas.

Key Competencies/skills:
Persuasive selling ability.
Good presentation skills.
Above average command of the English & Afrikaans languages.
Self-organized/managed.
Quick thinker and ability to make decisions.

Attitude/mind set:
Energetic, self-motivated, can do attitude.
Strong ability to work independently.
Social net worker.
Must enjoy Sales.
Must enjoy building strong business relationships and maintaining them.
Must be willing to travel in and around the area and the office based in Randburg (JHB) when required.

Other:
Must preferably reside within close proximity to the area
Must have own reliable vehicle.
