AUXILIARY SERVICES OFFICERS (HEALTH PROMOTION) 3 POSTS REF

SALARY : R196 278 per annum (plus benefits)
CENTRE : West Rand District Region A

REQUIREMENTS : Certificate in Health Promotion or equivalent qualification In health Promotion
with at least 3 Years relevant experience or Senior Certificate/National
Certificate (Vocational) with at least 5-8 years relevant experience in Health
Promotion field . Ability to work with the community. A valid driver’s license.
Presentation, negotiation and dispute resolution skill, knowledge in
community health programmes. Good communication skills and interpersonal
relations. Knowledge of relevant Acts, Regulations and Policies with regard to
health promotion and knowledge of Public Finance Management Act.

DUTIES : Co-ordinate community programmes for health related issues. Management
of record keeping/filing in health promotion office. Participate and lead the
arrangements of awareness campaigns and events of healthy lifestyle
programmes. Ensure Stakeholder mobilization and involvement. Act as
resource and consultancy centre for health promotion in the community.
Support and mentor Health Promoters. Ensure Community development and
empowerment. Ensure Implementation of project management for health
promotion. Lead implementation of IMCI/HECI//HPS/ISP and support WBOT
activities.
