Aveng Grinaker-LTA is a multi-disciplinary construction group, anchored in South Africa and focused on selected infrastructure, energy and mining opportunities in Africa.

This job will manage all site financials and prepare invoices for billing purposes. Calculating rates for goods, services and shipment.


• Relevant Diploma in Accounting/ Administration or equivalent qualification

• 5 years related work experience
• Computer literate (MS Office) specifically Excel and MS Word


Duties & Responsibilities

• Creates and implements monitoring processes and procedures around site administration
• Site financial, Stores, Procurement, time and attendance management
• Maintain a record of plant and material on site
• To produce timely and reliable management information reports on a monthly basis
• To ensure all costs are accounted for the various sites and if not, provide support to ensure the necessary accruals have been made
• Offers professional judgment on site administration matters and advice on ways of improving business performance
• Implements and ensures adherence to corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls
• Supporting the relevant sites and ensuring a streamlined process for the resolution of queries
• Provide training to all administration staff to ensure up skilling takes place
• Responsible for costing, petty cash and invoice preparation and processing
• Responsible for calculating and updating costing/pricing
• Oversee site procurement functions on site
• Oversee QS measurements and bidding functions


Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Previous experience in a site administration role
• Strong technical financial, mathematical and accounting skills
• Has previous exposure to tools and techniques for site administration and reporting
• Has the ability to work to deadlines, and adapt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with people at different levels
• Good understanding of utilisation of financial, marketplace, consumer and economic information
• Skilled in managing the flow of transactions in an integrated accounting function
• Strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Advanced computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel), Access, and other financial/accounting software as required for the position
