Vacancy Details

Babylonstoren has an exciting opportunity for a professional and passionate Sales Representative to join the cellar team! The ideal candidate is based in Polokwane and will travel in the surrounding area.

 

Responsibilities:

• Service existing clients: packing isles, merchandising, ensuring that prices are correct, and taking orders for wine, olive products, bitterlekker, balsamic vinegar, tea, etc.
• Basic administrative tasks.
• Report to lead marketers.
• Efficient route planning, and must travel daily to visit clients.

 

Required Skills

• Communication Skills: 3 to 4 years
• Sales & Marketing: 2 to 3 years
• Administrative/Clerical: 2 to 3 years

 

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in sales and marketing, wine or other relevant tertiary qualification.
• Experience in sales.
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English).
• Must be willing to work over weekends (as needed) at promotions, functions, activations, etc.
• Available to travel locally.
• Must have own transport and a valid driver’s licence.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Strong administrative skills.
