The Badisa Children Foundation, is an independent entity that has been established as a funding vehicle to raise funds for child protection services rendered by Badisa.

Job Title: Marketer/
Fundraiser
Job Location: Cape Town.
Salary: Negotiable remuneration package including a medical aid and pension fund, as well as generous leave benefits

Responsibilities:

• Design and organise special events and campaigns to create awareness and generate funding in the communities where the various programmes are established and operational
• Implement innovative fundraising initiatives according to budget requirements
• Source funding from the social responsibility programmes of corporates, charitable and endowment trusts and private individuals favourably disposed to supporting child protection services
• Develop a supportive administrative system and maintain a database of donor information

Requirements:

• Appropriate qualification
• Minimum of five years’ experience in fundraising and marketing
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of donor management databases
• Computer and electronic media skills
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport
• An appreciation for the culture and knowledge of marketing and fundraising in the nonprofit sector
• A track record of successful fundraising and digital marketing experience
• Imaginative and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising
• Ability to influence others using verbal and written Afrikaans and English communication
• Ability to work flextime according to the fundraising schedule
