Job Summary:
A vacancy exists for the above position. Individuals that meet the requirements are invited to apply for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•To provide a professional, accurate and effective Remote CCTV monitoring service and to co-operate with outside agencies in reducing
crime and the fear of crime in the area of client coverage.
•To ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained is secure at all times by strict compliance with the employers CCTV
operational procedures and code of practice.
•To operate all equipment and cameras and to comply with the operational control room procedures at all times, on a rotating 24-hour shift
pattern including weekend & public holidays and working as required.
•To monitor and patrol client sites effectively and to take any remedial or immediate action and notification as appropriate to events seen.

Requirements:
Minimum Requirments:

•Grade 12 Certificate
•Grade C registration with the PSIRA and ability to obtain Grade A within 3 months of your application being successful
•Conscientious, well-discipline, systematic approach with the ability to focus on data and information in an objective and logical manner and
be able to perform well in a crisis situation
•Be prepared to undergo high tolerance testing and to work in a confined area for the duration of a shift
•Two years’ experience in a control room environment
•Security, military, and/or law enforcement experience will be advantageous
•Ability to give coherent verbal evidence when required
•Ability to write basic reports
•Proven computer literacy with excellent English communication skills
•Successfully undergo polygraph examination before employment and on a regular basis
•Knowledge of metallurgical plant security would be advantageous
•No criminal record
•Valid certificate of physical fitness
•Valid Driver License
