Job title:Audit & Assurance Quality Management – Manager
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the role is assisting the firm in ensuring that the firm’s system of quality management is operating effectively; assisting teams with the IRBA inspection process including identifying the root causes; assisting the firm in developing relevant remedial actions plans to address findings raised; developing training material and presenting training internally on Quality matters; drafting communication on Quality matters and performing in-flight reviews

Principle Outcomes:
•Assisting with implementation of ISQM 1, ISQM 2 and ISA 220 (Revised)
•Once implemented, assisting in obtaining evidence to provide reasonable assurance that the firm’s system of quality management, including the following components, is operating effectively:
-The firm’s risk assessment process.
-Governance and leadership.
-Relevant ethical requirements.
-Acceptance and continuance of client relationships and specific engagements.
-Engagement performance.
-Resources.
-Information and communication; and
-The monitoring and remediation process.
•Attending relevant IRBA or SAICA meetings relating to Quality
•Assisting with training partners and managers on Quality initiatives
•Drafting communication on Quality
•Assisting with IRBA inspection process
•Summarising findings from IRBA Inspection process
•Drafting minutes at Audit Quality Oversight Committee meeting and assisting in putting
•the agenda together
•Monitoring BI in a box
•Assisting with the development of the remedial action plan
•Monitoring firm and engagement performance, including overseeing the monitoring of
•Audit Quality Indicators and investigating / following up on any indicators that may
•suggest a quality issue exists.
•Performing in-flight reviews

Education And Experience Requirements:
•CA (SA)
•3-5 years’ experience in a similar role/field
