Job Summary:
The Analyst is responsible to the BDO offshore engagement manager for daily work contact, conduct of the audit work and for ensuring that the fieldwork is executed within the required time frame.

An IT Analyst is responsible for assessing and evaluating risk, addressing audit issues, and executing audit procedures. The IT analyst is responsible for gathering evidence and evaluating them. The analyst also has the obligation to communicate the progress of an auditing task in a timely manner to IT Audit Manager. He/she also has the responsibility to produce an audit report and share recommendations and observations with all audiences, both technical and non-technical.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Completion of execution on sections in a timely manner.
•Attending client meetings independently.
•Mentoring junior members.
•Completion of analytical reviews.
•Assisting in the planning and finalisation of audits.
•Compiling of management letter points.
•Manages time and is held accountable for productivity.
•Provides frequent progress updates to the manager or partner.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
•Bcom Internal Audit, Bcom Information Systems/Informatics
•Bsc Computer Science
•BA Information Management
•The Ideal candidate should be studying toward or wanting to study toward a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification

Experience:
•Minimum of 1 year work experience in IT audit

Knowledge:
•Knowledge of General IT Controls, Application Controls,ISAE 3402, Business process analysis

Technical Competencies:
•General IT Controls, Application Controls, Data Analytics, ISAE 3402 reviews, Business process analysis

Behavioral Competencies:
•Ability to handle and manage stress
•Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
•Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
