Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance/support of and provision of technical expertise and architectural solutions. Provides technical architecture support to assist in the delivery of project artefacts to support the project delivery framework. Lead the architecture function in it’s operations by owning and defining the architecture strategy and it’s implementation. Embed architecture processes in IT and business and position Architecture as SMEs that guide Technology and business decisions.

Planning:
Manage the team and its plans
Responsible for strategy and objectives implementations
Establish enterprise-wide IT standards consistent with business needs
Establish and maintain operational principles
Define and execute the Strategy and Road-map in line with the Technology Strategy
Manage the design of infrastructure components in support of projects, Centres of Excellence and asset lifecycle activities
Ensure the design of all components meets the defined architectural strategies, operational principles and is aligned with industry best practice
Acts as expert for teams in the plan, design, and delivery of IT solutions.
Advises teams within technology of standard requirements, methodology and processes.
Drives short- & long-term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments.
Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
Communicates and validates program architecture with infrastructure team, business delivery team, and services management team.
Conducts end-to-end technical plan design.
Develops long-term strategy in collaboration with Systems Architecture
Executive, for historical data retention and archival plan for storage needs.
Defines data retention, backup, and recovery methods and plans.
Develops enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
Design and develop blueprints for the implementation of new solutions.
Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions.
Develops specifications for interfaces from existing to new systems.
Maintain a common documentation library
