Job Title: Financial Manager : SA Distribution Tax and Process Improvements

Salary: Market Related
Manages and coordinates SA Distribution companies’ financial process function, specifically looking at improvements to current process and controls. Manages tax compliance across all SA Distribution entities, as well as coordination of all BBBEE compliance relating to SA Distribution entities.
Financial Management & Control:
Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of the financial management and/or control process.
Functional Strategy Formation:
Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business.
Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
Ensure tax compliance for every tax area across SA Distribution and if required the rest of Blue Label companies.
Accountable for ensuring all e-filing is done on time.
Ensuring resolution of all SARS audits and administrative issues and updates across SA Distribution.
Give guidance to business on the tax treatment of transactions, as well as new products that are launched in the business.
Running with all tax audits across SA Distribution.
Supporting the group BBBEE team with compliance across SA Distribution.
Driving compliance and progress across procurement area’s for SA Distribution companies.
Any other tasks that may come up from time to time.
Optimizes Work Processes
Data Collection and analysis
Costing and Budgeting
CA(SA) or Registered at a professional accounting body
Registered Tax practitioner (non- negotiable)
Detailed knowledge of South African Tax laws
Two or more years working as a tax manager in a corporate company
Extensive e-filing and tax resolution experience
