Job Title: Procurement & Administration Manager

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Procurement & Administration Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement and administration functions for BOL operations as well as ensuring cost efficient use of resources and best practice procurement in accordance with BOL and PPADB regulations.

Key Performance Areas;
Procurement
•Develop and maintain a coordinated approach towards procurement and contract management seeking value for money
•Develop strategies to manage and to continuously review the effectiveness of BOL’s sourcing/tendering strategies and policies and implementation of third-party contractual agreements
•Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, and maximize the use of local suppliers
•Ensures compliance with the relevant laws of Botswana (PPADB, EDD, CEE, Tax laws)
•Establish and maintain (through the Procurement Specialist) a supplier/contractor database and supply chain management system
•Serve as Secretariat to the Management Tender Committee
•Overall Cost Management / Reduction
General Administration
•Coordinate the provision of general administration of services for BOL
•Manage the provision of outsourced services, including leased office equipment, cleaning and gardening services.
•Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements with service providers.
•Drive the general upkeep of BOL facilities and cleanliness of the premises.
•Oversee maintenance of fittings and equipment ensure effective management and utilisation of BOL utilities.
•Establish office records requirements and allocate office accommodation as per departmental requirements and available space.
Education:
•Business Related Degree
•Master’s in Business Management or equivalent is an added advantage
•Professional Membership of a recognised institute i.e. CIPS will be an added advantage
Experience:
•10+ years in the Supply and or procurement management function.
•Extensive SAP knowledge
•Computer literate to at least intermediate level (Windows, MS Word, and Excel),
•Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
•Understanding of business support operations
•Experience in managing teams of varying qualification levels
