Salary: KSh 46,985.00 – 61,302.00 Monthly
Job Summary:
1 x CAFE MANAGER
Overseeing the daily running and management of the Karibu Cafe and its staff on Nyati Camp

Main duties:
a) Ensure cash, stock, debt and assets are properly controlled.
b) Engage with customers providing retail services.
c) Manage the staff on a daily basis on behalf of the employer.
d) Manage staff absence for leave and illness.
e) Manage staff rosta to ensure all outlets are staffed appropriately.
f) Collate and submit staff time sheets.
g) Support the employer resolving issues with staff or customers.
h) Maintain appropriate stock levels including ordering stock at best value for money.
i) Conducting stock checks as directed by the employer.
j) Ensure all cash is paid to relevant accounts on time.
k) Prepare and sell hot drinks and snacks.
l) Sell all provided stock items as directed.
m) Report any damages or losses to the manager,
n)Ensure the retail environment is kept clean and tidy.
o) Ensure all COSHH material is used and stored correctly.
p) Ensure all COSHH material is replenished as required.
q) Report all health and safety concerns.
r) Report all damages to buildings and equipment.
Secondary duties:
a) Undertake any training as directed by your employer.
b) Support the manager to improve and expand the retail services.
c) Ensure the security of the retail environment after use.
d) Maintain all records as required by the employer
Requirements
Competences/qualifications/experience:
a. Essential:
(1) Possess a good level of secondary education
(2) Good understanding of English oral
(3) Must be able to work unsupervised and achieve high results within tight time lines
(4) Must be punctual
(5) Highly motivated and takes pride in what they are employed to do
b. Desirable:
(1) Well organised
(2) Self driven
