Bursaries and Graduate Opportunities in Media

Whether you dream of being an award-winning journalist, or are a graduate looking to embark on a career in the media, Media24 has an opportunity for you in one of two exciting new projects:

1. Bursaries for journalists
Media24 is offering 25 bursaries to the journalism honours programmes at WITS, Stellenbosch, North-West Universities and a post-grad diploma at Rhodes University. Just show us that you’ve completed an undergraduate degree in any discipline (or are in your final year), and we’ll consider your application. If you’re selected, we’ll pay your tuition, offer you vacation internships, and then guarantee you a year’s full time employment at one of Media24’s award-winning publications, through the Media24 Internship Programme.

2. Graduates in media programme
If you’re a graduate who wants to bring your expertise (in any professional field) to our media business, then this six-week intensive programme is for you. Send us your details, confirming that you’ve completed (or are in your final year of) an undergraduate degree or diploma, and if you’re one of the 20 selected graduates you’ll head to Media24 for six weeks to work in multi-disciplinary teams on challenging business projects. The top ten performers in this programme will be offered one-year intern positions within Media24.
