Capitec Bank is a retail bank, which focuses on providing accessible and affordable banking services to clients via the innovative use of technology, in a manner which is convenient and personalised. Capitec Bank recruits Regional Promotions Manager to be based in Eastern Cape

Purpose of the role:

Co-ordinate and manage promotional activities, and set standards for the look, feel and style of promotions. Provide support to operations, employer sales and marketing and lead the brand activation team.

Job Requirements:

  • A 3 year Marketing qualification (Degree or Diploma,) with at least 5 years proven experience as a planner / coordinator in a marketing, events and / or agency environment in the retail / financial sector
  • 3 years proven experience in managing a team of people in a Below the Line marketing environment, & brand activation
  • Excellent organising and co-ordinating skills
  • Presentation, facilitation and training skills
  • Management skills
  • Communications skills (written & verbal) – Fluent in English plus one of the local vernaculars
  • Ability to interact with people across all levels
  • Negotiation skills
  • Computer literacy (Advanced MS Office, Outlook and Internet)
  • Working independently / high degree of self-motivation
  • Conceptual and lateral thinker
  • Team player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Deadline driven
  • Driver’s licence 08
