- Maintain expertise across the EPLAN range of software solutions
- ensure that the Customer Data Base is regularly updated with customer information
- Adhere to discount structures as set by Senior Management / Managing Director
- Other duties as requested from time to time by Supervisor / Managing Director
- To achieve, and exceed, budgeted sales and profitability targets.
- To develop and look for new markets within the division to ensure company growth on a long-term basis.
- To safeguard the company’s interest with regards to property, monies, confidential information, etc.
Responsibilities
- Drive achievement of annual sales targets
- Effective pipeline management
- Systematic support of existing customers and expansion of business relationships
- Acquisition of new customers through strategic market development in the areas of mechanical and plant engineering, building automation, as well as energy and process industry
- Responsibility for the entire sales process – from independent market cultivation and customer acquisition to order negotiation
- Business negotiations and presentations on management level
- Preparation of concepts, plans and reports
- Implementation of predefined goals as well as support in the observation and analysis of the target market
- Cooperation with our strategic partners
- Assist with any customer related problems and enquiries
- Communicate market intelligence obtained in the area to Management
Required Skills
- Sales Manager: 2 to 3 years
- Sales Engineer: 2 to 3 years
- Technical Software Experience: 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
- Degree and / or HND in Electrical Engineering preferable
- Successful sales activities in the field of technical software as well as experience in process optimization
- Personality with sales flair, negotiation skills, strong communication skills and persuasiveness
- Goal-oriented work style, analytical thinking, understanding of processes and ability to think abstractly
- Team player and communicative personality
- Motivation and willingness to travel
