Young Talent Programmes

Young Talent recruitment plays an integral role in building Tiger Brands’ talent pipeline and as part of our Young Talent programmes, each year we offer bursaries and employ new graduates, interns and in-service trainees in different disciplines across the organisation.

Graduate Programme

Graduate recruitment plays an integral role in building the Tiger Brands talent pipeline.

The company seeks graduates who are self-motivated team players, efficient, flexible and able to think on their feet in an ever-changing world.

Applications for the 2015 Tiger Brands Graduate programme have closed and will re-open for the 2016 Graduate Programme on the 1st June 2015 and close on the 31st August 2015.

Available vacancies in the various disciplines change from year to year depending on business requirements.

Bursaries

Bursaries are awarded to successful candidates to complete a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial).

These students will ‘work back’ their bursaries for a period equal to the period of their studies.

Workplace Experience Programme

Work Experience, Work Integrated Learning or In-Service Training refers to the period required by certain qualifications for students to obtain formal work experience.

This period is formally monitored by the institution and assessed on completion.

The qualification cannot be obtained without the completion of this prescribed programme.

Tiger Brands places ‘Workplace Experience students’ or ‘interns’ on fixed term contracts to gain practical experience and complete their qualification.
