About the Position

Service, Maintenance, Repairs and Installation of CCTV, Access Control, Alarms & Electric Fence

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
 In this position you will perform installations as well as outline maintenance.
 Must have outstanding time management skills and be able to manage installations
 Will complete reports and communicate daily with your Manager
 Should be able to work independently and with little supervision
 In this role you will need to interface with both customers and internal employees.
 Diagnosing problems with exiting systems an making necessary repairs.
 Installing conduit, running of cabling, etc.

CCTV
 Programming of analogue and IP systems
 Fault finding on analogue and IP systems
 Knowledge of IP switches
 Knowledge of Routers
 Knowledge of network
 Wireless network setting up and configurations
 Setting up of remote viewing on standard DVR and NVR

Access Control
 General experience in Gallagher, Saflec, Impro
 Programming access points
 Ability to commission system
 Fault finding on all levels
Programming of Texecom, DSC, IDS, Caddx
 Fault finding of Texecom, DSC, IDS, Caddx
 Installation of Texecom, DSC, IDS, Caddx

Electric Fence
 Installation of Nemtek, JVA & Gallagher
 Fault finding on all levels
 Wall Top and Free-standing experience
 COC an advantageExperience and Qualifications

Experience and Qualifications

Must have a valid Code 8 Drivers license with an excellent driving record and Own car.
PSIRA registered
 Understanding of electronics, mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
 IT literate and be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
 Electrical experience
 Must be able to work with the Sales Team conducting site surveys and spec CCTV, Alarm System andAccess Control
 Minimum 5 years’ experience
 Matric
 A+/N+ Qualifications will be advantage
 Electronic qualifications
