Purpose of the Job

To trace and investigate the source of unallocated cash

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1.Processing/Capturing Function.

•Process/Capture all previously unidentified cash speedily and accurately before the end of each business day.

•Ensure the completeness, validity and accuracy of all documentation used to capture from at all times.

•Ensure that the documentation used to capture from are appropriately authorised at all times.

•Provide feedback on the work progress at regular intervals.

2.Reconciliation of Unidentified Receipts.

•Ensure that the Unidentified Cash Report is updated daily.

•Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations timeously.

•Ensure that the updated Unidentified Receipts report is available to the credit management before midday daily.

3.Internal and External Communication.

•Liaise with the relevant parties to gather information, resolve queries or solve problems.

4.Filing Function.

•Retrieve documentation as and when required

•File documentation methodically.

5.Health and Safety Compliance

•Conform and adhere to Safety, Health and Environmental legislative requirements.

•Report any health and safety concerns/incidents in the workplace to the manager / health and safety representative.

•Assist Cell C to establish and maintain a fully compliant Healthy and Safe Work Environment.

•Attend the Safety, Health and Environmental workshops as required by management.

6.Perform any other related duties as requested by Management.

Skills & Experience

•1 – 2 year’s similar experience

•Data capturing , Reconciliation and Cistomer Liason experience,
