Responsibilities:
- Ensure sustainable, high quality, targeted and client focused HIV counselling and testing services are provided within communities, healthcare facilities and workplaces throughout the Capricorn District
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the outreach teams of Lay Counsellors and HTS Linkage Officers and Data Capturers
- Provide mentoring, ensure IQC, and coordination of HTS equipment with DoH
- Supervise the teams during weekends or after hours as and when required
- Ensure the teams focus on reaching the high at risk and hard to reach populations
- Work with relevant stakeholders to coordinate the organisation of campaigns
- Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to analyse the testing results to ensure the funders’ targets are being met
- Ensure compliance with legal and organisational policies and procedures
- Submit monthly plans, monthly and quarterly reports on all HTS activities in the programme
Requirements:
- Must have a Professional Nurse qualification (SANC Registration)
- Computer skills
- Three years’ experience in an NGO
- Experience in management of staff
- Presentation skills
- Training and facilitation skills
- Communication and listening skills
- A valid SA driver’s license
- Ability to communicate in all the local languages
- Must be passionate about working on community projects with a focus on ensuring sustainable, high quality, targeted and client focused HIV Testing Services and contributing to the delivery of health services in the poverty-stricken rural areas of Limpopo Province
