Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Planning, design and implementation of civil engineering infrastructure projects including compilation of tender and contract documentation;
•Coordination of projects and management on a subtask level, including client liaison, budgets, invoicing, personnel and guiding of junior staff;
•Writing of technical reports, proposals, and letters;
•The candidate should have a good working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and AutoCAD. Proficiency in the use of TechnoCAD design software will be an advantage;
•Should be able to multitask and although we work in a team environment he/she should also be able to work independently;
•Traveling in South Africa but potentially in Africa may be required;
•Must have a valid (and unendorsed) driver’s license. Own transport will be an advantage.

Proven experience and expertise in the following fields of civil engineering infrastructure projects:
• planning, design, detailing and implementation;
• tender and contract documentation;
• submitting proposal and tenders to Clients for new work; and
• construction supervision and contract administration.
