Christelike – Maatskaplike Raad / Christian Social Council a faith-based (FBO), nonprofit organisation (NPO). The Organisation is a professional network of social workers operating with a Christian ethos. CMR Burgerdorp provides people with care and support through the organisation community programmes which focus on family preservation, child protection, poverty alleviation, HIV, AIDS and TB. CMR Burgerdorp provides community-based counselling, social welfare and social services for the poorest and most vulnerable people of all ages. Support families in making children’s court representations, assisting with foster-care placements, supervising foster-care parents and where possible re-unifying children with their biological parents and family.

Requirements:

• Valid Registration at SACSSP for 2018/2019
• Valid driver’s licence (Code 8)
• Minimum of two years’ experience (preference will be given to experience in Child Protection Services)
• Afrikaans as main client language (not negotiable)
• English
