Coca-Cola Fortune (CCF) is one of four licensed Coca-Cola bottlers in South Africa and has five manufacturing sites situated in Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Polokwane, Nelspruit and Port Shepstone. It has a wonderful diversity of people from all South Africa’s communities who work together to create a workplace that is energetic, challenging, exciting and rewarding We have an exciting opportunity in our SHEQ department for a Depot SHEQ coordinator to be based in East London. They will be responsible for Environmental and Occupational Safety and Health at allocated Depots.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Implement all Environment and Health and safety systems including ISO 14 000 and ISO 18 000
Coordinate and drive Health and Safety committee meetings.
Investigate all EOSH incidents and facilitate corrective action plans
SHEQ audit program
Ensure all audit findings are addressed and closed out.
Implement and manage SHEQ systems within depots
Co-ordinate SHEQ training at the depots
Manage the Achiever Plus Database for the depots

Skills, Experience & Education Minimum education

– National Diploma : Safety management /Risk Management/Environmental Health
At least 4 years’ experience in a role focused on Health and Safety systems implementation
Strong systems knowledge and experience.
Influencing skills.
Experience in food manufacturing would be an advantage.

General

Willingness to travel extensively to allocated depots.
