The Business Analyst with experience in the fuel or retail industry is responsible for managing and maintaining business applications as services provided by the IM department.
The role requires leading or participating in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of all relevant artifacts while adhering to the IM department’s application development and support processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Business Analyst will bring industry-specific expertise to the role, facilitating the mapping, standardization, and optimization of business processes unique to the fuel or retail industry.
The Business Analyst will be expected to understand the intricacies of the industry and have experience working with the unique software and systems that support it.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all IM service delivery engagements with business stakeholders within the assigned area of responsibility and will own the relationship with the business.

Key performance indicators:
The Business Analyst needs experience in the fuel or retail industry includes ensuring efficient service and solution design for business applications specific to the industry, maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity measures, aligning applications with IM architecture and strategy unique to the industry, driving continuous improvement, managing projects effectively, managing relationships with suppliers, and managing internal stakeholder relationships between business and IM teams.

Qualification:
Related 3 year tertiary is advantageous
