Job Summary

The purpose is to ensure high quality in accounting, assure compliance to internal & external financial reporting requirements, & to provide expert financial advice. The company controlling manager is also functionally responsibility for company control specialists.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Ensure compliance/control & process alignment
  • Guarantee accuracy of financial- transactions
  • Manage audits
  • Manage internal finance relationships
  • Overall responsibility for risk management
  • Provide timely legal & statutory reports
  • Reporting, tax audit & compliance
  • Manage credits & funding

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Degree Qualification in Finance or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a management/leadership position
  • Experience working globally with other international countries and across Africa
  • Experience in IFRS/GAAP and understanding of financial systems

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • BSc in Business administration or similar
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant
  • Experience working with Nigeria

Additional Requirements, Physical Demands, Region/Local Specifications:

  • Portuguese language would be an added advantage
