Youth, dependents of Compensation Fund pensioners and current Compensation Fund pensioners, who are South African Citizens between the ages of 17 – 25 years and accepted to study at listed Universities Tshwane University of Technology, University of Pretoria, University of Cape Town and University of Kwa-Zulu Natal for the academic year 2019 for the critical scarce skills identified by the Fund.

Critical scarce skills funded:

• Nursing
• Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics
  Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB, ChB)
• Occupational Therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Science
• Information Communications Technology and Actuarial science.

Selection criteria:

Youth, dependents of Compensation Fund pensioners and current Compensation Fund pensioners, who are South African Citizens between the ages of 17 – 25 years and accepted to study at listed Universities for the critical scarce skills identified by the Fund.

Eligibility Requirements:

• South African citizens
• Fully completed application form
• Proof of residence
• Originally certified copy of Identity card/ birth certificate of the applicant (youth, dependents of Compensation Fund pensioners and current Compensation Fund pensioners)
• Certified copy of matric certificate
• Fatally injured pensioner’s certified copy of death certificate
• Certified copy of surviving parent or guardian’s ID card/book
• Award letter for fatally injured pensioner and listed dependents or fatally injured pensioner’s pension number or Compensation Fund pensioner’s pension number
• Proof of acceptance (admission) from the Tshwane University of Technology, University of Pretoria,
• University of Cape Town and University of Kwa-Zulu Natal confirming identified scares skills courses.
